React Native and Flutter both ship real apps for both platforms, and both have large enough ecosystems that either can work. The decision comes down to your team and your long-term maintenance, not benchmarks that both frameworks pass these days.
React Native wins on JavaScript talent and shared code with the web. If your team already works in React, or your product is a React web app that needs a mobile companion, the learning curve is near zero and you share types, logic, and sometimes even UI. Flutter wins on design consistency: its widget system renders identically everywhere, which helps when pixel fidelity is a core requirement.
For most Indian product teams, the deciding factors are hiring and existing code. React Native skills are easier to hire for because React developers are abundant. Flutter's Dart talent pool is smaller but growing, and the tooling is excellent. Both handle native modules, push notifications, and offline storage.
Our default is React Native unless a project's design demands Flutter's rendering consistency. But the framework is far less important than the codebase behind it - tests, CI, and disciplined architecture matter more than the choice of canvas.
